Billing and plans
Account > Billing shows what plan you are on, how much of it you have used this period, your card and your invoices. You need the Tenant Admin role to open it.
Your current plan
Section titled “Your current plan”The plan name sits at the top of the page with a bar for each allowance: jobs, team members, job types, API keys, wallboards, webhook endpoints, integrations and external workers. Each bar reads used against included, “35 / 3000”, and turns amber as you approach the limit and red at it. An allowance your plan does not include is left off the page rather than shown at zero. What the bars say is live, and it is the figure to trust.
If your next billing cycle has a date, it is under the plan name: “Monthly, renews 6 October 2026”.
Usage and overage below that is where you choose what happens when you use up your job allowance. See Plan limits and overage.
Plan Features lists the capabilities on your current plan with a tick or a cross against each.
Grandfathered plans
Section titled “Grandfathered plans”If you are on an earlier version of a plan, with different limits or a different price, a violet Grandfathered badge sits next to the plan name and the line under it says which version you are on and whether that is permanent or ends on a date. Changing plan ends it.
Choosing a plan
Section titled “Choosing a plan”Until you have a subscription, the button in the corner is Select a Plan. It opens a dialog where you pick Monthly or Yearly, choose the plan, add a discount code if you have one, and enter your card. The card form is Stripe’s own, so WorkWing does not handle your card number.
Once you have a subscription, that button becomes Change Plan. Pick the new plan and WorkWing shows you exactly what will happen before you confirm: an upgrade is charged pro rata today and takes effect at once, a downgrade costs nothing today and switches at the end of your current period. A scheduled downgrade shows as a notice on the page until it happens.
Changing between monthly and yearly billing is not something the dialog does. Ask support.
Your card and your invoices
Section titled “Your card and your invoices”Payment Method shows the card on file with its last four digits and expiry. Add Payment Method or Update opens Stripe’s card form in a dialog. Cancel or manage in Stripe underneath it opens the Stripe customer portal, which is where you end a subscription, change your billing address and get your tax receipts.
Billing History lists past invoices with the date, the amount and whether each one is paid, pending or failed. The download button on a row opens the copy Stripe hosts.
If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and then move to the Free plan.
What each plan includes
Section titled “What each plan includes”Four plans: Free, Basic, Standard and Professional. Prices are on the pricing page and on the Billing page itself.

| Auto-assignment | No | No | No | Yes |
| Customer portal | No | No | No | Yes |
| Remove “Powered by WorkWing” | No | No | No | Yes |
Removing “Powered by WorkWing” does one thing: it drops that line from the footer of the job emails your customers receive. It is separate from the custom domain, which puts your own address on your workspace.
Team members and external workers draw on two separate pools, so a contractor never uses up a seat your own staff need.
Team members covers your operators, your field engineers and your Tenant Admins. Everyone with a login you own counts, admins included.
External workers covers contractors and subcontractor crews whose logins you do not own. They have their own allowance, which rises with the plan and is zero on Free. See External workers.
On the paid plans both figures are fair-use ceilings set well above ordinary use, not a per-seat charge. WorkWing raises either one for genuine business use on request, at no extra cost. On Free, the five team members are a hard limit.
