The dashboard

The dashboard is the first thing you see after logging in. It answers three questions: how busy is today, what needs you, and what is the field saying.

While your organisation is new, a Getting started bar sits at the top of the dashboard for Tenant Admins. It tracks seven setup steps: add your first customer, add a resource, create a job type, set working hours, customise your branding, invite team members, and create your first job. Each one ticks itself off as you do it. Show steps opens the list, and Dismiss hides the bar for good. Once all seven are done it goes away by itself.

Four cards across the top.

  • Jobs today: jobs scheduled for today.
  • Unscheduled: open jobs with no date yet.
  • Unassigned: open jobs with nobody on them.
  • Available resources: how many of your resources are available right now, out of the total.

If your brand renames resources to engineers, the cards say engineers.

A job is overdue when its scheduled end has passed and it’s still open. The Overdue card lists them with how late each one is. View all opens the jobs list filtered to overdue jobs.

This card only appears when it has something to say: a job is assigned to someone who can no longer log in, because their account was suspended or removed. Each row names the person and the jobs that need a new resource.

Up to seven open jobs that need a dispatcher’s action, most urgent first. The reason sits next to each job: SLA breached, At risk, On hold, Unassigned or Unscheduled. Click a row to open the job. View all goes to the jobs list.

The latest notes your engineers and office staff have left on jobs, newest first, with the job number under each. Click one to open the job.

The bar across the top is the main navigation. You only see the sections your role can use.

  • Dashboard: this page.
  • Jobs: find and open a job.
  • Dispatch: plan and move work on a map and a timeline.
  • Observations: what your engineers have reported from site. The badge is the number waiting for triage.
  • Customers: customer records, locations and history.
  • Resources: your engineers and where they are.
  • Reports: how the work is going.

On the right you’ll find search, a Live dot that shows the page is receiving updates as they happen, your organisation name, the light and dark theme switch, notifications, and your account menu.

Create Job in the top right corner is the quickest way to start work. It opens a searchable list of your job types; pick one and the create form opens. Your first job walks through it.

Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac) or click the search box. Type a job number, a customer’s name or email, or a resource’s name. Results are grouped by type and you can narrow to one type. Open search without typing and it shows what you’ve looked at recently.
