What is WorkWing?
WorkWing runs the field service side of your business: the jobs, who’s doing them, when, and what happened on site. Your office plans and dispatches from the web app. Your engineers work from the mobile app. Your customers get told when someone’s on the way.
Who it’s for
Section titled “Who it’s for”Any business that sends people out to customer sites. Plumbing, heating, electrical, cleaning and pest control. Fibre and network installation. Facilities and property maintenance. Contractors and fit-out crews. If you dispatch people to jobs, WorkWing fits.
Jobs and dispatch
Section titled “Jobs and dispatch”Create a job, pick the customer, set a time and assign someone. Every job has a status, so you always know what’s pending, what’s underway and what’s done. The dispatch console shows your jobs on a map and a timeline, and assignments reach the engineer’s phone as soon as you make them.
Customers and job types
Section titled “Customers and job types”Customer records hold contact details, site addresses and the history of everything you’ve done for them. Pick the customer when you create a job and their details come with it.
Job types standardise the work. A job type sets the form your engineers fill in, the default duration, the SLA targets, the skills auto-assignment looks for, and what has to be filled in before the job can be completed, such as a customer signature.
More than one brand
Section titled “More than one brand”Run several business units or white-label brands under one organisation. Each brand has its own look, job numbering, job types and email templates, and you manage them all from one login.
The field app
Section titled “The field app”The mobile app gives engineers their day, the job forms, photos, signatures and parts. It keeps working without signal and syncs when the connection comes back. Engineers can also report anything they notice on site, and the office decides what to do with it.
Customers kept informed
Section titled “Customers kept informed”A text when the engineer sets off, branded emails as the job moves along, and a status page customers can open from a link without an account.
Reports
Section titled “Reports”Reports cover job volume, completion rate, SLA compliance, how long each type of work takes and how work is spread across the team. Build your own when the built-in ones don’t answer the question.
Connecting other tools
Section titled “Connecting other tools”Every plan includes the REST API and webhooks, and you can connect Claude or ChatGPT to book and look up work in plain language. WorkWing does the field service part and sits alongside your accounting, CRM and whatever else you run.
