The reports dashboard

Reports in the top navigation opens on Dashboard: a fixed set of operational numbers over a period you choose. Saved Reports beside it is where you build your own.

Viewing reports needs the Operations Manager, Brand Administrator or Tenant Admin role. Operators and resources don’t see the section at all.

Two controls sit at the top right. The first picks the length of the period, 7d, 30d or 90d. The second buckets the charts by Day, Week or Month. The dates you’re looking at are shown beside them.

Everything recalculates together, and the headline figures are compared against the period of the same length immediately before, so a change is always like for like. Today counts as a whole day, which makes the last bucket on a chart a partial one.

Across the top sit Total Jobs, Completion Rate, SLA Compliance and Avg Duration, each with the change against the previous period and a small trend line.

Total Jobs counts the jobs created in the period. Completion Rate is the share of jobs finished out of the jobs that were due, so work scheduled for next month doesn’t drag it down. Avg Duration averages the time from starting to finishing across the jobs completed in the period, and a fall in it is shown as good news.

A figure with nothing behind it reads N/A rather than zero, so an empty period looks empty instead of looking bad.

Completion Trend plots jobs created against jobs completed. The gap between the two lines is the honest picture of whether you’re keeping up.

Status Breakdown splits the period’s jobs across every status, with the count and the share of each.

Priority Mix stacks jobs created by priority, bucket by bucket.

Avg Duration by Type ranks job types by how long the work actually takes, which you can hold against the estimated duration set on the job type. Sort by Slowest or Most jobs, and open the rest with Show all.

Resource Utilisation is a leaderboard: assignments per person, how many they completed with the rate next to it, and their average minutes per job. Sort by Most active or Best rate. It shows the busiest eight, and Show all opens the full list.

SLA Compliance is a gauge with On time and Breached counts under it, and a line telling you how many of the period’s jobs carried an SLA target at all. That last figure matters, because a job only joins the count once it’s finished or its target has passed. A thin denominator is visible rather than buried. Set SLA targets on your job types and the panel has something to measure.

Reports cover every brand you have access to, added together. A Brand Administrator sees their brands. A Tenant Admin sees the whole organisation.

To get figures out into a spreadsheet, build the question as a saved report and use Export CSV there.

  • Saved reports: build your own when the dashboard doesn’t answer the question
  • Creating a job type: set SLA targets so SLA compliance has something to measure
